When using waterproof power supplies, you need to pay attention to these points:
-
First, choose the right model. Match the IP rating to your environment. IP65 is for places with light rain or water splashes. IP67 is good for outdoor, marine and agricultural areas where it may be submerged briefly. IP68 is needed for underwater or very wet places. Also, choose the right power and voltage to avoid overloading.
-
Second, install and connect it properly. Make sure connectors are fully inserted and tight. Check that cables are not damaged. Do not use non-waterproof extension cables or connectors. Install it in a well-ventilated place for better heat dissipation. Ground the FG wire if needed for safety.
-
Third, maintain and store it well. After using it in muddy, sandy or coastal areas, rinse it with low-pressure fresh water and dry the ports. Check the case, connectors and cables regularly for damage. Store it in a dry, well-ventilated place away from sunlight and high temperatures. If it malfunctions, turn it off and ask professionals for help.
